About Race and Resto Studio

Personal Background

I am Ben Covello, founder of Race and Resto Studio. I have been professionally modifying cars for near a decade. During my time in the industry I've resurrected countless iconic cars and boosted multiple to 4 digit horsepower numbers. I've received formal training form UTI and I presently hold my ASE Master Technician certification. I operate out of Houston, Texas.

Mission

We are an automotive performance and entertainment brand. We launched November 15, 2020 as a YouTube channel creating automotive content around my personal car trouble and ambitious projects. It was in these initial days I decided the core of our mission is to educate, motivate, and entertain.

What we do

• Restoring, upgrading, and racing cars: I film myself restoring, upgrading, and racing cars. I document and share my entertaining content on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and right here in the Technical Information section.
• Create innovative parts: I create innovative parts to solve the problems I face when building cars of this caliber. Whenever possible I make these parts available for purchase here on our website.
• Why build if not to race?: I race as often as possible! Straight lines or twisties, it's fun and it's important testing.
• Projects from clients: I also take projects from clients who need an experienced performance technician.
